Financing is something that got me against the ropes. I am not middle class, somewhere there in between; I am immigrant also. I am aware of the social achievements of people like us in other countries. Spain, Cuba, Canada, and most recent Uruguay. When it comes to achieving basic goods for everyone, you have to organize, you have to find a common ground. In theory that should not be so hard in this country, we live in a democracy, we have very extensive ways to communicate, a very specialized technological network that allows sites like this receive a question like yours. However we are very bad at organizing for things like health care demands, so it is not surprising that transgender health issues are in a very low stage. We try to do things on our own and is very hard, our transitions processes have become a business. Nothing more unfair. On the other hand, you have those among us how seem to ignore this; those among us who have become business trans-women, I see that as very sad and shameful. There is a lot of talent among us, we could do a lot for all of us, lets get informed, lets learn about other countries how did they managed to get what they have? We have to become more political, we have to change our ways, socialism, is a taboo in America, we can learn a lot about that, there is shame associated with recognizing that you are poor, some of us fear to lose glamour by complaining..
Some may think that this is the wrong place to write about this, I believe that attitude is part of the problem..I would recommend you to move to a city were there is more organization within the United States. Let's be part of the solution..
