Fashion doesn't need to be big and flashy...

Personally I'm LOVING the "boyfriend" look (though...of course I am! I get to wear men's clothes that are tailored to women. It's a bigender's dream!!) I've always had an affinity for oversized overalls and a femmy top. Yum!

The same, but it just looks rediculous. Smile

Actually, my grandmother is almost 80, and she could still make those things work. It's all about finding the right style for your body and soul. Smile

I think what makes that outfit work isn't the outfit, it's the young, waif model wearing it.

Fashion trends can be decieving. What I have found is that one has to dress ones age and, if one does that well with clothes that fit well and are well cut you can look good no matter what. I know money is tight for everyone it is tight for me, but I have found that investing in better clothing really is investing in ourselves. I dont want to look like some frumpy old grannie in a hideous dress, I want to look like a 47 year old hot sophisticated woman who knows what she wants where she has been and where she is going. Save your money ,and buy quality. Years ago Fred, my father, asked me one day why I bought hamburger everyday to eat.He said save your money for 3 days and buy a steak, you will enjoy it more. Damned if he was right!
I dont hardly eat meat anymore , chicken and no red meat, but I got me some nice clothes....... Nod

I would totally wear those overalls but I would wear a tube top for a shirt instead of what the model is wearing...........
