Hi I posting this here while I wait for my account to be exepted

You can call me amy <-- chosen name

I'm (**) and currently in the "closet" about my transexuality and sure some of you will say oh your to young well I've known for about 8 years now so I'm pretty sure it's not some kind of phase
Ok now to the point
I really want to come out toy family and friends and I've told some people that I knew in an other city. But I'm to scared to tell my famly I mean there very open and have known transgens over the years (so they tell me) and were all athists so there isint any problems with religion but still I'm scared I've been living the way people expected me to since I was little and now I have lots of friends and things like that and I don't want to ruin it. I think I'll go to a (*******) couseler see f be can recomend me a therapist with out me telling him my problems

Anyways so what do you all think?
And how do you recomend coming out ?
Sorry if there's any miss spellings I had to type this on an iPod touch as to keep seafrtive and Iight have lost my trail of thought cuz I had to stop a fewtimel

Love amy

Hi Amy. Think long and hard before you make any desisions that will effect the rest of your life. Educate yourself and be careful.
You should not say (deleted) on any forum that isn't stricktly for (deleted) There are many who would take advantage of you if given the chance.
So grab a seat. Whats up besides clouds?

/hugz

PS: I 'knew' at age 9, your not alone. Most of us 'knew' as children.

Questions are good. I had known that something was up since I was in preschool. It is only now at twenty yro that I decided to come out to my family and friends, and for some reason my friends accepted me easier than my loving family. I know that 'comming out' is scary but honestly, it is what you think that matters most because the people you know may forget in time but it will keep on nagging at you on the inside until you do something about it.

Hi Amy, As was said by others, be very careful posting on a public forum, none of us ever want to see harm come your way and predators exist. Also I feel that it cannot be stressed to strongly that knowledge about transgenderism is essential prior to deciding whether or not the term applies to you. It is not a life style choice, it is who we are and how we were born. We exist in all cultures, come from all different backgrounds and from all different countries and professions. So young sister, do your homework. There many legitimate sites on the internet that will help you understand things better. Perhaps you would do well to start with http://www.tsroadmap.com/index.html

The heck it is!! You will do it again and again!!! I promise! ROTFL

I get suckered like that all the time.

Sometimes someone will drag up a thread from a year or two ago and I won't recognized the title....If I note that there is a huge post count that will red flag it for me....but if there have only been a few replies I'll start reading away.....then all of a sudden things start to sound familiar. When you see a post from a person that is no longer here you DEFINITELY know something is wrong!!

Fun Stuff!!
