I mean the fashion/outward appearance definition, not the gender identity definition. Smile

Does anyone else have an androgynous sense of style? (I know Sevan does..?) Right now, it's pretty much necessary for me to be andro, because I haven't got passing off as male totally right yet. But I have to say I quite enjoy it... I think if I didn't have such a prejudice towards feminine clothing/whatever because it causes me to be instantly interpreted as female, I would wear it more often.. I'm quite keen on wearing a dress one of these days for a halloween party Very Happy

On the other end of things, I think androgyny in other people is really hot! Heh. Here's a good site of full of gorgeous pics of androgynous presenting people:

What about everyone else?

Hmmm I have an interesting blend of fem andro and outright masculine styles. Laughing

When I have my preferences I'm unbound (chest...that is) with men's undies, jeans and a long sleeve t-shirt. That's kinda my "andro" look.

If I'm going out to the bar and I'm dressing full on male...I'll wear a hat, I've got a theater beard that I spirit gum to my face, I bind, I wear mens slacks and a mens button up dress shirt.

When I'm going to work (which is mainly when I'm still dressed fem, though I do choose to wear skirts from time to time at home) I'll wear full length hippie skirts (home made...I'm kinda crafty like that) and normally a simple knit top.

If I really want to "mix it up" I'll wear my skirt...and a men's tshirt. Doesn't make much difference to others but it feels more...comfortable to me. I notice.

Were you looking for how to present more andro? I've got techniques...I don't use them much cuz...eh. But I know how! lol.

I wasn't intending to do more than just discuss and share experiences, but that might be a good thing for future readers. :)

Me, I find opting for a sort of feminine-gay-boy look works as an andro thing. Because you've got certain maculine aspects like a belt, but you haven't got the roughed up trousers and everything's kept quite neat, which is quite a feminine thing. That's how I do it. :P

Yes.

When I'm working, I'm in male mode (don't like it). Otherwise, I'm in androgynous style. I find that's where I'm most comfortable and most accepted. I like going out in female style on occasion now days.
